The Florida Canes Dominican Republic Experience I is a premier international baseball experience designed to provide players with high-level competition, cultural exposure, and professional-level environments in one of the most passionate baseball countries in the world.
This 7-day event will take place across multiple cities including Santo Domingo, Villa Altagracia, and San Pedro de Macorís—widely known for producing elite baseball talent and a deep-rooted baseball culture.
Players will compete in 5–8 international games against top Dominican competition, gaining valuable experience against a different style of play that emphasizes skill, speed, and baseball IQ.
One of the highlights of the experience includes games at Estadio Tetelo Vargas, a historic professional stadium that is home to the Estrellas Orientales and has hosted generations of elite players.
This experience goes beyond baseball. Players will experience the culture, energy, and passion of the Dominican Republic—one of the most important baseball pipelines in the world. The city of San Pedro de Macorís alone is known as a major producer of professional talent, often referred to as a baseball hotbed.
Through competition, travel, and shared experiences, players develop confidence, maturity, and a deeper understanding of the game at an international level.

This tour is a key part of our mission to expose athletes to high-level international play and prepare them for the next stage of their baseball journey.
Join Florida Canes for an unforgettable week of international baseball friendlies throughout the Dominican Republic. Players ages 7u-18u will compete in juegos amistosos in Santo Domingo, Santiago de los Caballeros, San Pedro de Macorís, and Villa Altagracia. The experience will also include a special visit to an MLB academy in Boca Chica and a relaxing resort day in Juan Dolio, combining competitive baseball, Dominican culture, and unforgettable experiences on and off the field.
Throughout the week, players will experience baseball beyond the traditional tournament setting by competing against talented Dominican teams, visiting different communities, building friendships through the game, and experiencing the passion that makes the Dominican Republic one of the world’s great baseball nations.
